One of the singularly coolest Pro Mod race cars, and those Pro Mod are the coolest race cars.
This was called the Texas Big Bird, it raced from around 99 to 2003. The website they had is dead.
It would go from a dead stop to 235MPH in 6.2 seconds. While it was a one of a kind pure drag car that had no street car parts - it was built to look like a Petty Blue (Richard Petty's colors when he raced a Superbird) and was featured in four magazines.
A few years ago -- a street Superbird was used to tow the Texas Big Bird to the starting line as a promotion stunt.
