I was blown away at loading a race car onto a Ranchero... seriously, that is too much weight for a passanger car to handle, carry, and brake competantly. But then add the trailer weight! Doom!
But Nik pointed out that the hauler is a custom chopped Galaxy, and I'm hoping that the customizer went over the top for new brakes to handle all that extra load!
... trailers and motor homes produced by Turiscar, whose images have been sent by great friends who collaborate with our humble space ...
The photo is of a trailer Brilliant, and so taken in 1967, so this trailer is the first series produced by Turiscar, and was owned by the great racing driver and organizer of the Rio Ricardo Achcar.
He told me an interesting fact: the trailer was used not only as his residence in times of races, but also served as an office for his "traveling school of driving", which was very successful at the end of the 60s and early 70s.
Look only in the strange tug of vehicle trailer in the photo below: Galaxie was adapted into a truck only to lead to his Formula autodrome, and tow the Brilliant!
