Today's Car of the Day is a 2004 Honda Civic that came in with a dent on the right fender. Maaco-Fremont repaired the dent on the right fender, and painted the fender with the Factory Platinum paint service to match the rest of the car. Maaco-Fremont also installed a new pinstripe on the right fender to match the pinstripes on the rest of the car.

The customer who owns this BMW had someone else start the bodywork before he brought it to Maaco. The bodywork had not been completed and there were still some scrapes and gouges in the bumpers that needed to be repaired. Maaco fixed the bumpers and applied a 2-part epoxy primer to the areas where there was exposed body filler. We block sanded both the old and new body work to make sure the body lines were correct and everything was smooth. Then we painted the whole car with our Signature 2-Stage Base-Clear Paint Service. We also restored the matte black trim on the bumpers, door handles, window mouldings, side mouldings and rocker panels. Finally, we put pinstripes on the car.
The owner had taken the tail lights and BMW emblems off himself and planned to replace them after he picked-up the car.
