MAZDA5 2011


Hiroshima, Japan and the Mazda Motor Corporation with the world premiere of the new Mazda5 (known as Mazda Premacy in Japan) in the press day of the 2010 Geneva Motor Show on 2 and 3 March 2010. Embracing dynamic and elegant design Nagare new Mazda5 CO2 emits about 15 percent less than the current model, with Mazda's "call in" system idle stop, an engine with direct injection gasoline and other technologies. European sales of new Mazda5 will begin in fall 2010.

The new Mazda5 has an emotional design that blends elegance with a dynamic spirit. It will be the first production model to fully adopt Mazda Nagare Mazda (which means "flow" in Japanese) idiom, that finds its inspiration in the beauty of nature in flux. Nagare design have appeared in parts of the latest production models and has already been demonstrated by a series of concept cars. The design of the new Mazda5 is achieved excellent aerodynamic performance with an excellent drag lift and balance. To meet the demands of large customers, it also provides a high degree of functionality, two sliding rear doors and seating for many. This includes a center seat karakuri second line that can be converted into a versatile storage space. With more sporty driving and smooth, the new Mazda5 reacts precisely to driver commands, so that the whole family travel in comfort and safety.

Based on long-term vision for technology development, Zoom Zoom, Mazda is working to improve the environmental performance of their products.
